WOYWW 529

Good morning all, a lovely Wednesday morning and time for a WOYWW globetrotting trip around lots of busy desks courtesy of Julia at The Stamping Ground.  I have had a busy week crafting, I was asked to make a very special birthday card for a work colleague to give to his fiancee this weekend.  Only I forgot to take a photo of it!  I also had a request for Thank you Childminder card.  More pounds for the charity coffers!

Side desk is dumping ground today, so no photo.  On the main desk, I have started a sample album for favourite card styles.  I have two albums, and plan to put Christmas cards in one, and other cards in the other.   I struggle for inspiration sometimes.  The red balloon card was inspired by a sheet of backing paper.  There is also a new water colour pad, and a couple of dies, from a trip to The Range on Sunday.  And some Honey Doo Lily images to colour in.  I also stamped and die cut lots of flowers and boots for the first card in my sample album.

That's all from me this week.  I'll be visiting tonight, in between packing for our holiday on Friday.    Quick pic of our home for the next week - all 9 of us! Can't wait!

Have a lovely week, and see you in 2 weeks, Heather xx

Love me a weekend or holidays in someone else’s big house, this one looks marvellous. where? Admiring the inspiration album idea, it will be so useful. I find I start on something and veer off so it does just take the basic idea to kick start....an album full of kickers is a guaranteed start! You do so much colouring and cutting, am thinking you could be coming up on prolific!

Oh wow! Heather that is an amazing house. You are going to have a wonderful time and of course we expect to see more photos of the inside too. Loving your cards. I have to admit to still having patterned paper that needs using up but I remain obsessed with making Masterboards so I think I will have to make one day in the week 'Patterned Papers Day' and stick to it or they will never get used up. Wishing you a very happy woyww, Angela x13x

Hope you have a fabulous trip Heater, I like how you split the mat panels into a trio on the card in the top left. ( I never think to do things like that, and I really like how it looks) ~Stacy #31

Hi Heather, I'm loving the Card album as I to have a few cards I love to keep, very good idea.
also about Copic's and Promarkers, I mostly stay with copic's, I find them easier to use because I find them easier to match the closest colours and amazing for shading, Promarkers are a guessing game for me, but that's my Preference, I also use Prisma colour pencils with copic's.
love you new home for the next few weeks looking forward to seeing the nice pics next time on WOYWW have a lovely Holiday and Happy Crafting Kaz X

Hope you had/are having a great holiday, Heather - the place looks gorgeous. I love the idea of making an album for card ideas, to give you inspiration. It can be hard to get going sometimes, can't it. Thank you for your visit last week, and I'm sorry not to have got back to you way before this but we have been so busy this week. I'm glad you enjoyed my watercolour doodles - it's an easy technique and great fun to do - I recommend it. Making envelopes used to be a real pain for me, until I invested in an envelope punch board, which takes all the angst out of it.

Happy WOYWW,

Hi Heather, love your card with ballon very nice reminds me I’ve more unused NBUS in my stash. On buying ban again. No time to use what I have. Or inclined when time! Lazy these days not bouncing out of my skin.. never have been but still oomph none. I admire that lily stamp, I’ve one not in bunch but, single bloom which needs to see ink again.

That house is almost my dream Georgian home, my sister and I designed ours when I was 16, she was 15.

I drew mine and it looked like that except had verandahs with ballastrading across the front two sections the smaller recess slightly was bigger than that four windows across with full length doors in middle, it was the library of course. 😁
... it had six bedrooms with six en-suite bathrooms, which were only seen in magazines in the those days.
They were to right of the library, and the other main rooms were on far right including ball room drawing room etc so naturally it was much bigger.
Had curved driveway and fancy garden and the drive swept outback to the stables of course .. okay dream over 😉 pray you are having a wonderful time, sis. ❤️

Thanks for being a blessing, and may God bless you too.
