WOYWW 521

Oh my word, someone call the Time Police - it really can't be Wednesday again so soon!  It is, and that means a desk hop around the world courtesy of Julia at The Stamping Ground and WOYWW.

Main desk has the start of Father's Day cards for me to take into work and sell.  First idea for a card, so I die cut 7 sets of shapes, might as well do some bulk creating.  I have the idea for design no. 2 but won't be starting on that until later this week.  I received a few ATCs in the post - thank you very much ladies, but my photo doesn't show them - they are just to the left, past my Gold Sparkly Book - close up of that below the desk shot.  I will take a pic of all ATCs after the Crop.

Close up of the Gold Sparkly Book.  It originally had a clear cover but I kept misplacing it.  Now it has a cover that I can spot a mile off!  It's the book where I keep lists of the stamps, Inks, Promarkers, stencil pastes, distress oxide sprays, etc that I have, together with glitter card coloured in with the Promarkers (as featured many moons ago by our "Chief Enabler").  I just stock up on the silver glittercard now, and colour it accordingly.  Plus other useful bits and pieces.

A couple of people asked about the inside of my embossing sample thingy.  So a couple of shots of that.

No side desk shot today, as it is full of a little extra something I have made to bring to the Crop.  Does anyone know how many ladies are going to the Crop?  I hope I've made enough!!

And finally .... a sort of garden shot, but really a pic of our visitor yesterday!    Couldn't believe that he just wandered down the embankment for a munch!

Have a lovely week, and I'm really looking forward to seeing many of you on Saturday at the Crop!  Heather xx

Oh WOW, how exciting to see your visitor. I would be over the moon if I saw one - I got excited at seeing a hedgehog one time and had to ring a friend when I saw a woodpecker.
Good to see you are in full production for Father's Day - your cards are always delightful - no wonder you have a large clientele.
That's a great crackle piece and I just love your glittery book. What a good idea to make it stand out so much. I started keeping a record like that but then it became a bit too wieldy and now I have a database on my computer. (If you are on Apple products it makes life easy because it transfers to your phone.)
See you Saturday - exciting or what?
Hugs, Neet 5 xx

For a definitive answer to that, you could scroll down my blog to the Crop post comments, add in me and Wipso and Twiglet and you’ll have a better than rough answer! Love the coloured gold book...I don’t keep those sort of lists myself, and I should.. I can’t tell you what I’ve got particularly, but I can look at a shelf full of products and tell you what I haven’t got! See you on Saturday!!

Hi Heather, I used to keep a notebook of 'stuff', but it got ridiculous,so I swapped to a Microsoft product called One Note, and store everything in there now. It's great, because it's free( with Office), and best of all it can be on your phone as well as PC, so I've always got it with me when I go shopping! Love the cover of yours, can't possibly miss it.What an amazing visitor to get! Fabulous. See you Saturday, Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #7 X

Hi Heather, thank you so much for the beautiful ATC, I love it, and the card and die cuts are great - I love the sentiments and will definitely use them on a special project. I love your embossing sample thingy! What a great idea - my embossing folders are the one thing I don't have catalogued for some reason - you've inspired me to get them sorted! Love your visitor, hope he didn't eat all your garden plants!
Have a great time at the crop,

I look forward to seeing the Father's Day cards completed. Cards for men are hard to make.

Had to laugh at your very glittery book. I don't have enough items I buy to keep anything like that. If I had to write down everywhere I found a "found object," I'd be in trouble.

Have a great time at the crop. LOVE that visitor you had. Happy WOYWW from #1.

Not everyone gets a deer in their back garden! Lucky you had your camera ready! It will be nice to find out how the Father's Day cards turn out. Thank you so much for your lovely ATC inside the card (I like that idea - might copy it next year)! If I can make it to the crop, it would be lovely to meet you! zsuzsa #23

Nice to see your visitor. For some reason we seem to have loads of Muntjac deer in Lincoln and they seem to be getting all over the place. There was a news report today that someone jumped in the canal and saved one that had fallen in the water either today or yesterday. Good luck at getting your Father's Day card finished. Have a lovely woyww and a happy crafty week, Angela x17x

Hi Heather, ooh what a cool visitor. What I like best about your notebook is that you have samples of the texture. :) I have one that is just ink colors and I do use that but, I have most of the stencils, stamps and dies on an online notebook now. ~Stacy #27

Firstly huge apologies for not getting back to you last week ... I thought I had replied but obviously had brain failure - which I only realised when reading your lovely comments this week ... confusion reigns here most days I'm afraid! I think Julia said there were 21 going to the crop but I am not sure if she included herself in that number. I have also had some ATC's arrive but am not sharing them until after the crop - so guess what next week's WOYWW will be about?!?! Have a FAB time on Saturday - I feel quite sure you will! Love to you from Debbie xXx

Wow, Heather, how amazing to have a deer visit your garden! Lovely photo. In our old house we had a hoopooe one day which was a huge thrill. Here in the town we don't get much wildlife, although Lily does seem to be able to find the odd mouse under the plants in the garden! Lovely ATCs. Thank you for your visit, and for your birthday wishes. Yes, it's always a busy time with family birthdays in May! - and now it includes the kitties as well! Thank you for your kind thoughts about my pension etc. Yes, a huge relief that that at least is sorted. Today I completed the PIP form in draft, and it's being checked on Monday in advance of sending it off mid-week to meet the deadline. I'm hoping it's all OK - I've put so much work into it and I can't think of a thing I've left out!! Still, with them, you wonder whether enough is ever enough... We had a smashing day yesterday for my birthday, at my sister's, and the weather was perfect too, so we could have a proper tour of her lovely garden.

Happy belated WOYWW,
