WOYWW 522

Good morning all.  Time for the post-crop post of WOYWW.  What an amazing time we had.  Was wonderful to see everyone again, and meet some new faces.  I didn't take a camera, so have 'borrowed' a couple of pics from the lovely Lunch Lady Jan!

The group pic, with a lovely banner made by Annie's daughter:

Back Row: Christine, Chris, Sarah, Camilla, Zsuzsa, Annie, Heather, Jo, PJ, Caro, Anne, Neet, Elizabeth, Margaret, Catriona, Shaz

Front Row: Helen, Chris, Julia, Jan, Dolores and Maggie

And a couple of Lancashire lasses at their best, aka Neet and yours truly:

I don't want to wait another year till we all meet up again!  How about a Christmas Crop in November (she said hopefully)!!??!!

Carrying on one last crop related photo - all the ATCs and goodies received from the lovely ladies at the Crop.

Plus an amazingly detailed ATC from Debbie (Tattered Rocks), who wasn't at the Crop but had sent them with Shaz & Doug.

They were all beautiful.  We are indeed a very talented group of ladies!

I can also now show the ATCs received last week.

Top row: Diana, Sandra, Sylvia

Bottom row: Caro, Zsuzsa, Angela

Love them all, and the envelope and the extras, thank you so much ladies.

And now time for the desks ...

Side desk has seen me organising my stamps.  I had the Docrafts stamp storage folder, but I don't find it user friendly for the A6 wallets.  I had some 4 ring binders, which I have yet to decorate, and these suit the A6 folders so much better.  One folder will be for Lavinia, one for Honey Doo, and one for others.  At the back of the picture is one of my A4 zip folder where large stamp sets or specific brands are kept.  I have about 25 of those, mostly full!  Where did all these stamps come from??

Main desk has the first layouts for Father's Day cards for work.  This month's charity is connected to the Armed forces - not sure how exactly yet, but I'm sure I'll find out soon. I need to get a move on if I want to have a nice stash to sell!

I did have another idea for a layout, but I didn't write it down and have now completely forgotten what it was.

That's all from me for this week.  Except again to say a massive thanks to Annie & Jo for organising the Crop, and to Julia for keeping this amazing blog going ... for at least another 10 years 😁😁😁.  Have a lovely week, and thank you for stopping by.  Please leave a comment, as I do love to read them.  Hugs, Heather xx

Great to see you Heather. I don't mind hosting a mini meet up in the shed sometime during October half term if people can make it. Christine and PJ visited last year. Love the stamp storage. Happy WOYWW. Sarah #1

Hi there Lancashire Lass - loved our meet up again - nothing stopping us two meeting some time - we live reasonably close. You are welcome any time. Gosh, you got some lovely atc's that I had not seen before.
Your Father's Day cards look great, just the perfect design but I had to smile at you having another design thought but now not knowing what it was. Me to a tee!
You look very organised re your stamp storage but I would have thought you needed a Gorjuss folder too.
Hugs, t'other Lancashire Lass (who just pipped you I see) xx

Morning Heather, sorry I didn't get time to chat with you, there was so much going on and I did need to be sitting much of the time.
I like the idea of a Christmas crop, but I find Christmas so busy, I don't think it would work for me
Those letters for Dad look good, sadly 18 years since I have needed a card for a dad.
Hope you manage to sell lots for forces charity.
Bless you

I really enjoyed your photos from the crop, Heather. It made me feel like I was there in spirit, at least. You got some awesome ATCs. What fun you had, I can tell.

Your stamp storage is brilliant. You have more stamps showing than I actually own! Happy WOYWW from #3.

Lovely photo booth outcome for you two, will be sniffling that for a scrapbook page! It was jus plain old great fun, huh! The trouble with a winter crop is distance and darkness......perhaps we should hire a big house for an overnight! I’m kind of glad that you had a great idea and have forgotten it, makes me feel much less frustrated by that daily occurrence! As for the full up stamp folders...I know what you mean and cannot help with an explanation, I think it must be magic.

Hi Heather, great to see you again. Smiling about the card Idea you forgot- I do that all the time. So often, in fact, I've taken to keeping a notebook on my desk to scribble them down in now! Those Dad cards look fab. A pre Christmas crop would be a fab idea, I'm in, lol. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #7 X

Thanks for sharing the photos, looks like a great time. I also enjoyed all the fun ATC's and glad mine arrived. Mail outs here are sketchy, so I worry a bit about things getting where they should. Super good group photo. Have a great week

It was lovely to meet you Heather! Love that fun photo of you and Neet! Thank you so much for the little memento you gave me at the crop in addition to the ATC you sent in the post! Your stamp storage seems to be very well organised - I wish I had the same discipline - mine are all over the place and can never find anything. Look forward to seeing those Father's Day cards! zsuzsa #26

Fun to meet up again Heather! It was a smashing day that whizzed past all too quickly...a Christmas Crop sounds the bees knees, lol!
I can forget something between thinking about it and clicking on Google - it's a skill :-)

PS Think a mask and feather boa needs to be part of your daily attire......

It was so lovely to meet you and I really loved every minute of the day. It would be lovely to meet up in the Autumn if we can manage it. I forget ideas all the time and have a notebook to scribble them in, but still fail to remember them! Love the photo of you and Neet! Happy WOYWW. With love & God Bless, Caro x (#9)

I am just loving all the photos of the crop - it looks like you all had a fabulous time and I love the feather boa pic! That's a fab bundle of ATC's and I love your cards too - very nice backgrounds and very eyecatching - I always find it so hard to come up with good ideas for a masculine card. Glad I'm not the only one who forgets brilliant ideas - in fact the more brilliant the idea the more likely I am to never remember it again!
Have a great week,

Hi Heather, well done for making it to the crop, wish I could have been with you all. I'm a bit late tonight but better late than never I guess. You would like the Doncaster Dome show it's not too big but there are some well known companies go there about thirty or so usually. The next show for them is in October and there's a show at the Doncaster Racecourse in July which is much bigger that's organised by Create and Craft. Wishing you a happy woyww, what's left of it. Isn't that group shot just a fabulous photo?!?!?!? Sums up everything our WOYWW have come to mean to us all. The feeling of friendship just seems to ooooooze from the photo. Sorry I didn't get to pop by before now ... time seemed to run away with me yesterday and goodness only knows where it went! Love to you from Debbie xXx

Thank for your visit earlier, yes, it was sad not to have spoken much but there's always next time!! I'm sorry if I came across as a bit offish, my brain is not always 'in the moment'.
Every time I see one of the Group photos, my heart swells ..... so much friendship and love.....

Like the design for your cards, very effective.
Have a good week

Happy Belated WOYWW and thank you for your earlier visit to my new blog. Your ATC collection is wonderful. I normally join in, but completely lost my crafty mojo for a while. A Christmas Crop sounds fab, but my main issue is that we live so far away from everyone (LLJ is the closest, and she is still over 1 hour away). Ali x #29
