WOYWW 482

Good morning all.  Time for another tour of desks courtesy of head desker Julia and WOYWW.  I spent part of my weekend in Keswick catching up with some friends.  Whilst we were there can you guess where we visited - the clues are on my desk.  Mr M felt the urge to treat me - who am I to spoil his fun!

Yes - the Pencil Museum!

On my other desk I've been finishing off my die storage with my new label printer.  I'm quite happy with the end result, and even emptied my UFO box to put the little wallets in.  Just need to find another UFO box now.

I also have one of the MDF die storage units with 10 A4 trays.  I'm using that for all my nesting shapes, that should be finished next week.

I'm thinking of doing something similar for stamp storage, but maybe using A4 wallets instead.  I think the zip top ones are better than the popper fastening ones. Hmm, watch this space!

Crafting is planned for this weekend, a special birthday card for my youngest daughter who will be 30 when we are in Canada, so need to make a start on it this week, or I'll never get it done.  Still waiting on inspiration!  Plus brother and sister cards for October, which are needed as soon as we get back home.

Short and sweet post this week - apart from a question about the Crop - any recommended hotels nearby?  Mr M and I still not sure if we are staying over or driving back.

Please leave a comment so I know you stopped by.  Have a lovely week Heather x

Morning Heather. Your die storage looks great - well done. You're going to Canada?? How wonderful! Enjoy every minute of your time there. Llandudno hotels - there is a good Premier Inn at the end of the road from the church, and a friend actually runs Beth Eden Hotel - don't know if they have any space or what the price is, but if you find them on the internet and contact them feel free to use my name. Julia, Jan and Annie all stayed in a B&B last year - not too far from the church. Hope that helps.
Take care. God bless.

We stay in the other Premier just off the A55 coast road (I think that is where it is) - nothing as plush as the hotels you will be staying at in Canada I imagine. Canada, wow, that will be wonderful - lots of photos for the blog?
Lovely stash, lovely husband - you will love that battery eraser - great for hard to get to areas too.
See you soon.
Hugs, Neet 4 xx

I love labelling things!! If I had that machine, everything in the house would have a tag...the cat, my husband etc etc :-D. You're going to Canada? How exciting, you'll have to tell me all about it at the Crop - I'm very much looking forward to meeting you!

Great idea on the storage. Think I will try it for my clear stamps. I have way too many. Have a great trip, wishing you great weather. How far away ? I think the far western areas were having terrible fires. ENJOY

Hi Heather, we are staying at the Travelodge, it's right in the centre of the town, and from the look at Google maps, about a 5 minute walk from the hall. This is the link: https://www.travelodge.co.uk/hotels/587/Llandudno-hotel. Not stayed at this one before, but we do use them often, and they are basic, but all you need for somewhere to sleep!
Love the storage,I have mine done in a similar fashion, but in a Really Useful Box.Those battery operated erasers are really good, you'll love it. See you at the crop,
Have a lovely week,Hugs, Shaz #6 XxX

My Mr S never feels the urge to treat me LOL! Not to worry, I know how to treat myself and keep it secret too! The label printer sounds like a good idea - I almost bought one once (the embossed Dymo type) but managed to talk myself out of it in the last minute. Good luck with your cards - I'm sure the inspiration will come to you in the end! Wishing you a lovely week. zsuzsa #24

Lots of new goodies I see, I'm lucky to have a good man who likes to treat me to craft goodies too.
You are so organised Heather, I try my best to get sorted but feel i'm walking backwards all the time. Hoping when my kitchen is finished I can crack on and get some of my creative space sorted as it's been mayhem and chaos for quite sometime now.
Creative Hugs for the week & sorry i'm late to visit Tracey #8
