WOYWW 479

Hello all. My goodness, I blinked, and another week had passed by.  Busy times!  Time for a weekly peek at work desks across the world courtesy of Julia and WOYWW.

Mine has once again not seen much action.  It was my eldest daughter's birthday on Saturday, so a trip over the Pennines was called for.  I forgot to take a photo of the card I made her, such was my excitement at going to visit her and her family.  My desk as it was this morning.

Not a great deal on it. A card for a friend and some glue. Oh and a little pink tea cup from when my grandsons stayed over and the youngest one made me a cup of tea! I bought the teaset for my grandaughter, but the teapot makes a pouring sound, and 3 year old George loves it!

The rest of the week has been spent in the garden.  Mr M had decided to convert our garage - which has not had a car parked in it since we moved in - into a workshop and gym.  Workshop for him, gym for me.  So he has been busy with his tool kit again, knocking out one wall for patio doors for my gym, and building a dividing wall as I don't want his dusty tools in my shiny new gym.  Half way there in a week!  But ... oooh me thinks this lovely new room overlooking the garden would make a lovely craft room.  But then again, he did spend all that time last year putting in my new desk, worktop and cupboards in my current craft room!  Gym or craft room?  Watch this space!  View from my current craftroom, you can just see the new patio doors!  Ignore the half bare embankment we are still deciding what trees and shrubs to plant!

Thanks for stopping by.  Please do leave a comment so I know you stopped by.  Heather xx

Hi Heather, wow, that is a lot of embankment. Low maintenance will be required I think. How about Rhododendrons/Azaleas? They'd look amazing flowering on that bank. Gorgeous view from your window. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #3 XxX

OOh Heather, I see your dilemma! I must say, that since we moved my craft room to the ground floor, I’ve used it more, kept it tidier (I know that’s a bit hard to believe) and wesort of see more of each other when I’m craft busy because we are at least on the same floor and I can hear the telly and whateverhe’s up to. SO much so that we knocked a door through in the end, so my craft room and the lounge are accessible to each other. These things have a habit of evolving, high!

Heather your garden looks like a park compared to my little back garden hee hee!! Wonderful to have so much space to adapt to your own needs. I'm happy with my little space as a child I lived in a multi-storey block of flats so had no garden at all, it's a blessing to be able to step outside into my own little space.
Enjoy your creative space outdoors as it's just as inspirational & Thanks for sharing WOYWW.. I'm sure your friend loved it.
