WOYWW 563

Good morning world, I hope everyone is staying safe in a world gone crazy.  Wednesday mornings will remain as an escape to sanity courtesy of the wonderful Julia and WOYWW.  This weeks post is short and sweet.  Following my wisdom tooth extraction, I just wanted to curl up and do nothing, so ... only a few Mother's Day cards were made at weekend, to sell at work.  Exhibit A - my main desk - I do like my colouring on the jug of tulips!

However, none of these will be sold at work!  As from yesterday, here is Exhibit B - side desk is now my work desk, as I am working from home for who knows how long!

Stay safe and well, and have a lovely week, Heather xx

Take a bow for your colouring on the jug of flowers and the one above but it is the little owl ones I fell in love with. Such a shame you cannot sell them as I am sure most mums would have loved to receive one of your cards. Safest way to buy them - rather than going in the shops. If I had a mum I would buy one from you, pay for the card and postage so you could send direct on my behalf.
How is it going, working from home? Must be nice in some ways and not in others.
Hope hubby stays safe and well. Thinking of his job. You too.Hugs, Neet 1 xx

Love the cards you have created and such a pity you can't sell them. Hope it works out well for you working from home. Given the times we are in may be such a good option. Stay safe and keep crafting.

Very pretty cards Heather, i'm sure they will be snapped up even if not this year. Best to be working from home if you can, it protects not only yourself but also those around you. I'm having to do my care duties every other day now someone has to take care of those that can not get out and about themselves.
Take care & stay safe WoywW Hugs Tracey xx

It's amazing how unsettled having a tooth out can make you, I hope you're feeling better now. That's lovely colouring on the cards, the jug of flowers is very pretty indeed. Hope the working from home goes ok and you don't get cabin fever!

Lovely cards Heather. I do hope your tooth has settled down and is easier for you. We need to blog more and share our crafty activities if we are all housebound! xx Jo #15

These are strange times and all we can do is sit, craft and wait... we're not homebound completely in Holland (we are still alowed to go outside) but social isolation, yes. And the place I work closed its doors (as do the schools, pubs, restaurants and most shops) and since I cannot do my work at home, I am unemployed now. It feels strange to have no job all of a sudden... I can't seem to get myself to being creative today. I'm glad I have my online friends to visit! Take care, stay healthy! Big virtual hug from the Netherlands! Marit #21

Beautiful cards my friend. I am staying in but I aways do in cold and flu season so this isn't much different for me. I like having time to do what I want and I have an acre of ground to walk in if I get crazy being indoors. Stay well!

Lovely cards Heather, it is a shame that no one will get the chance to buy them this year. I suppose you can look on it as a head start on next year lol. Happy WOYWW. Stay safe. Sarah #2

Your cards are fabulous, and I particularly like the little owls stamp - that is so cute. The colouring is beautiful on the jug of tulips - I don't find it easy to shade when colouring, but they look amazing.
Hope you are soon feeling much better from your tooth extraction - it's such a horrid thing to have done.
Stay safe and have a good week

Hi Heather. A good job done on the cards - but now they must wait until we are over this crisis time. That's really sad after all your hard work.
Take care. Stay safe in your home office. God bless.

Gorgeous cards. I am also working from home, but have to use my crafting desk as I don't have a spare and the dining room table is too low. Stay safe. Happy WOYWW. With love and God Bless, Caro x (#14)

Those are lovely cards Heather, dammit...badly timed work from home decision! I bet you have the discipline to work properly from home, I no longer have. It’s made me a procrastinator! Do some more of that fab colouring to maintain your sanity missus....it feels necessary. Stay well. Xx

Beautiful cards! Maybe you can sell them online? My DH and DD are also working from home, as are so many people. So nice that you can do it, so the money doesn't stop. I had to take a medical leave as I was working as a cashier (not much social distancing there!) and have asthma. But the store closed for 2 weeks yesterday, and I am glad my co-workers can be safe. Thanks for your visit to mine, and have a great week! Lindart #26

I am trying to Pollyanna every situation at the moment in order to remain upbeat and positive ... er, I guess at least you have next year's Mother's Day cards made maybe!
Thanks for popping by my blog this week & sorry I am late getting back to you - total meltdown day yesterday when I had to look into H's beautiful big blue eyes through the letterbox and tell him "not today" when he asked to come in. His mommy was dropping us some fruit and bread into the porch - how do you explain all this to a five year old! I cried non-stop for 8 hours after he kissed me through the front window - no Pollyann silver lining there at all! Love to you, Debbie xXx

Your colouring skills are excellent, Heather! Well done with all the beautiful cards. I am glad you are able to work from home - so many people can't, and I wonder how they are going to fare in the coming weeks. Thank you for your visit - I was rather amused to read of your mother's failure to teach you to knit. My mum taught me, but she couldn't crochet. My grandmother taught me to crochet, but she couldn't knit! So I had a double benefit from two generations lol! Glad you enjoyed my somewhat wacky explanation of my hubby's weight loss saga! As Neet said in her comment on my blog, men and cats are similar - neither will do anything if it's not their own idea!! I am just hoping that since his Slimming World group has now closed for the duration, that he won't fall off the wagon with only me to be accountable to, but as his normal out-of-the-house activities have also been severely curtailed, he's at home most of the time and won't get the opportunity to eat anything other than what I give him! I told him what you said about the herb garden and he was very pleased. It's a lovely job, isn't it, and it certainly makes life a lot easier for me, not having to bend down to pick my herbs for the cooking.

Stay safe and well, and happy WOYWW,

Hi Heather!
I do so love the coloring. Tulips are perfect for us here in the states right now. I have leaves but no flowers yet. First Hyacinth bloomed yesterday. I hope to get some cards done today. I'm a bit behind. Like you, I'm working from home - but then I always do. Some of my duties have changed as a result of the shut downs though. Hang in there - this too shall pass. Hugs & Creative Blessings! Kelly #25
