WOYWW 511

Oh wow, I'm on a roll.  2 consecutive weeks of WOYWW, where will this end!  I've been a busy bee with Mother's Day cards to sell at work for charity.  I forgot to take pictures of them all - but quite a few were made from Hunkydory kits, so more assembling than creating.  I also had a couple of leaving cards to make this week, a practise one is on my side desk below.  There are also some new Honey Doo stamps.  A nice lily one for a card I have been asked to make for In Memory on Mother's Day.  Next to the stamps are some Spectrum Noir clear Sparkle Pens to add some sparkle to cards.  Not to the dress on the real card, that was just practise using the pens.

Below is the finished card ... I like the Gorjuss stamps, but this is the first card I have made.  I didn't quite have all the colours of Promarkers I needed (especially hair), so will be buying some more soon.  The sparkly bits are from the embossing powder I used.  I didn't have plain black, just black sparkle ... something else for my shopping list! I added glossy accents to the butterflies and dragonfly, and job done.

Please leave a comment so I know you stopped by, I love to read them.  Have a lovely week Heather x

What a lovely thing to do in selling your cards for charity! I used to send a bunch of mine to the nursing home where my sister works and the patients would give them to someone who did a kindness for them. My sister said she would go into a room and one of my cards would be on the bulletin board and that used to make me so happy. Happy WOYWW Glenda #18

Our crafty shopping lists are never ending, there's always something else on our want list before the last list has been dealt with. Fab cards you've made Heather, the Gorjuss range is very sweet.

Thanks for your lovely words on my blog - and yes, we are more than virtual friends now. Hope you make it to the next crop.
Love your Gorjuss card - you do a better job than I do at colouring in. I am not a 'cute' card person really but I do like the Gorjuss girls. They are not too expensive either so are a good buy.
I like the way you use the Honey Doo stamps too so good luck with the Lily one you are using.
