I hope you are having lovely weather - last few days have been gorgeous! Crafting has taken place in the last 7 days, but oh my goodness - so has crafty shopping! Best of all - I've remembered its Wednesday and time to take part in WOYWW. First exhibit is my UFO box to the left, and the cards I have finished to the right of it. I have ordered a couple of new dies which will hopefully be perfect size for the card that had "something" missing from a previous post. You can't see it too well but I foiled the 40, 50 and 60 through the laminator. I also had a 70 and a brand new roll of rose gold foil which I want to use for Nic's wedding invitations .... so I foiled that too - only the entire square of foil fused to the card! Very annoying as I specifically checked it was suitable and clearly it wasn't. I have a back up 70 card, peeking out from the UFO box.
In addition to finishing some cards, I also made new labels for my bits n pieces drawers.
To the right of my cards, are the first of my crafty purchases. I'm going to have a lot of fun when everything else arrives! I've saved a small fortune over the last few months, reflexology, hair appointments and facials at the spa, have all been sadly lacking, so I had a splurge. Mr M is on holiday this week, so he's doubling up quite well as my delivery boy - from front door to craft room!
I saw a STAY-tion on a you tube video, and thought that looks very handy. On top of that are some toothstyle make up brushes as featured by our favourite enabler, a new honeydoo stamp, a distress oxide, some low tack tape behind that, some ATG refills, and some cutting channels for my woodware trimmer ... and that is just yesterday's deliveries! I might have to invest in one of those under desk trolleys as I am quickly running out of storage space. Or I could just have a thorough spring clean, which would no doubt clear some space! At the back is my journey so far on my family tree - it's very time consuming, but also very interesting.
Have a lovely week, and stay safe and well, Heather xx

your link goes to an older WOYWW but I have found you! love the cards. Sounds like you had a good shopping splurge with all your new goodies! Helen #2
Great cards but annoying that the rose gold foil doesn't seem to work correctly. Enjoy the online shopping!!! My hairdresser (of over 30 years) rang yesterday so I have an appointment for a wet cut on 7th July - I can't wait. Stay safe. Happy WOYWW. Sarah #7
Morning Heather. My goodness - have you been busy! Cards finished and raring to go - all that time on the internet to purchase lots of new stash - all those deliveries brought right to your hand by your own personal delivery man... is there no end to it all?? I hope the rose gold foil starts to behave itself!
Take care. Stay safe. God bless.

Why not spend the money you have saved during lockdown. Your stock probably needed replacing if you have been making like I have over lockdown. No excuses needed. Love the wine/glasses stamp!! Have a good week. Ani ( wonder if we are related through marriage have the same surname).
Hi Heather, I have that same HoneyDoo stamp. Lovely to see all of your purchases. I to bought some of those brushes but never got around to using them for months. Boy am I glad now that I have them, so get using yours straight away, I could not believe the difference they make. I thought I could blend pretty well with the tools, having had years of dem'ing with them, but the brushes make it so easy and I can get much lighter blends too.
I did just the same, made the excuse that I had not had to pay for podiatry, chiro, hair etc and so spent money on crafting goodies, but I cannot see it ending. There is always something I will want.
Have a good week, make more of those beautiful cards and enjoy the sunshine and relaxing of the rules.
Hugs, Neet 10 xx
ps congrats on being number 1 (even if it was the wrong link)
It's astonishing how much money we've saved in lockdown too and we're not actually that big spenders....ours is going towards a holiday for my Big Birthday next year, lol! Lovely new stash there, have fun playing with it and the cards are fab, I'd buy 'em!

Yep, no doubt that lockdown has saved us all some money...and if it helps, I do not have a single moment of regret about buying my trolley, its the bees knees! I’m sorry about the 70 card, what a bummer...i know nothing about foiling through a laminator, I still do it the (VERY) old fashioned and amateur way with a glue pen and some rubbing! I like the new stamp, that bottle could hold all sorts of mysterious potions, I do like a swirl on an image! I dont count ATG tape refills as part of my splurges, they’re a necessity and I’m blind to the cost!!
You have been very productive - I love the new stash too. It's amazing how much can be saved by not doing a few regular activities - I think we've saved enough for a holiday not having coffee's several times a week!
Your labels are lovely and look very professional - I really like the font you used for them.
Have a good week,

I have finally stopped craft shopping this week - not sure i have saved any money during lock down at all. Enjoy your new goodies - they look great . Have a great week . Soojay #17
I am sure we all have saved some money during this lockdown, I have saved some. What a bunch of wonderful cards. Sometimes you have to make compromises when you are making cards or other art, I have noticed. It is not always going the way one is wishing for.
Thank you so much for sharing!
Happy WOYWW

It's good to splurge once in a while, especially if you saved the money previously. I saved so much by not popping into the shops on my way home from work. I've looked up the Stay-tion - it looks very useful - probably not for me with my messy practices, but that won't stop me from buying it LOL! Wonderful cards and I bet the foiling looks great on them. Always difficult to capture with the camera. And for using hubs as delivery boy - I try to beat mine to the door, so I can keep my purchases secret, shhh! Luckily my office is downstairs and his is upstairs, so no contest, hehe. Have fun with your new purchases and happy WOYWW. Glad I caught you this week! zsuzsa #24
Lovely cards and I like how you decorated your drawers. Looks like the family tree will keep you busy for quite a while.

Great cards - really must do some foiling, I've got enough kit! I like your rationale - pretty much the same as me although with 4 of us home all day we do seem to have spent more on food. (Or if I'm honest, alcohol .....) . Looks like you are getting your WIPS in order - next project NBUS!! Stay well, stay safe, happy woyww, Cindy #11
Hi Heather, great job with the foiling, what a pity the rose gold stuck to the whole card, thats a real nuisance. You really will love those make up brushes,( You're most welcome, rofl) mine get more use than any of my previous blending tools/brushes.Loved having a look through your new goodies, I do like the Honey Doo stamp set, makes a good male card, I find. You must let us all know what you think of the STAY-tion, I'm curious. Stay Safe, Have a lovely week,Hugs, Shaz #5 X
You made me smile when you mentioned the money you've saved. I have of course used this as an excuse for a few new stash products Lol! I have to admit to buying three new trolleys from Hobbycraft and they are brilliant. I've put one in the new cabin, one by my desk in the house and one in the loft where my sewing machines are. They were on offer so a great buy. Happy woyww, Angela x19x
Always great having new stuff😊 I don’t think I have saved any money this lockdown because I have been ordering along the way! A good sort out is always advised , but you fill find those trolleys very useful too. Angela #33
There's nothing like a good bit of retail therapy, Heather, especially when it involves either crafty stuff or clothes!! You've got a nice lot to play with now. Sorry to hear about the foiling problems. I haven't got a laminator and haven't had much success with foiling in the past so I've never really bothered with it. I do love the effect, though. I think what we have saved most money on is petrol! We usually eat out about once or twice a month and that has saved a bit of money, too.
Happy WOYWW,

Hi Heather, looks like some fun things have found their way through the mail to you :) Ooh I am glad to hear you had a back up card and sorry about that foil. I have a I should probably play with mine more relationship with foils. ~Stacy #32
Love your cards. Too bad the 70 mess up.
Your drawers are cute... great job with the labels!
Look at all those goodies! I love my blending brushes!!
Have a great week!

Love those tidy drawers!
And that STAY-tion looks very interesting - may have to be added to my wishlist!
Shame about the foil - but glad you had a backup card!
Happy Crafting!

Your little set of drawers looks so neat. I have same set but not decorated mine - I feel inspired to have a go! I have felt the same about spending a bit of saved dosh - why not? We can't do much else so might as well take pleasure in what we can do and it's always nice to get a few parcels in the post! xx Jo
I love your cards and your new goodies will be such fun to play with. Happy belated WOYWW. Stay safe and take care, with love & God Bless, Caro xxx (#9)
Great cards and even more great 'stuff' you ordered, love it! Oh, and it's too late for 'Spring' cleaning, you should make it a summer cleaning or, even better, not clean at all and instead have fun playing with your new goodies! Cleaning and decluttering is overrated! Thanks for visiting my blog earlier this week, sorry I'm late with my visit back to your blog but finally time fell into place with my mind, yay! Have a great weekend, hug from Holland. Marit #28
Hi Heather! Lucky you for getting all those new toys to play with! We have saved lots of money over the past few months by not going out for dinner or lunch, which we used to do quite regularly. And we didn't swap it for take-out. Talking about family trees - out of the blue this week I found that I had an uncle I never knew about! He is my Mom's half-brother, who she has never mentioned, but knew about. He is probably passed by now because he would be 100 years old this year. But it was a bit of a surprise! Thanks for your visit and your kind words re my journal! Hubby is painfully recovering in the hospital for another week...Have a great week, Lindart #29
Oh where did you get your ATG refills? Was going to get some from Amazon but when I came to order the UK supplier had magically changed to an American one!!! Foiling through a laminator, that's a new one on me! and love your labelled drawers. Thanks for the visit BJ#15
Thanks for getting back about the ATG refills. I usually get Acid-free if I'm going to use for scrapbooking, but then again I don't usually use them for that so might go with the plain type. I will ponder, many thanks. BJ
Thanks for visiting, Heather - when I commented before, I meant to say how gorgeous I think your little drawers are! Really pretty and effective decoration. The storage in my room is all pretty boring really! Thank you for the "perseverance award" this week lol! I now wish I'd saved a few more items from my wardrobe of 25 years ago because I could probably fit into most of them now, although in the interim I certainly wouldn't have been able to. I agree that there aren't enough hours in the day these days! I don't know where the time is going.
