WOYWW 515

Good morning all.  Time for WOYWW.  Not much activity on my desk at the moment.  My grandson turned 4 on Sunday and my grandaughter turned 3 on the same day, so birthday cards were made - but I forgot to take photos!  Side desk has some layered cards, one with an embossed top layer - just having a play with new embossing folders.  I wanted a nice guitar stamp to make a topper for the blue card, but am struggling to find one - recommendations most welcome.  If I don't track one down, I might make my own! I thought it would be a good male card.
Main desk has some stamp cards that I've been practicing with the promarkers on skin and hair - still need to buy a few more so I can have different hair colours, but my collection is growing nicely.  I bought a couple more Gorjuss stamps - love the detail on them!
I've sent off for my ticket to Happy Stampers, so hopefully will catch up with some of you there.  For now, that's it for me, apart from to wish everyone a Happy Easter.  Have a lovely week, Heather x

I like the music edging of that Male card very much, but then I would, eh?! You've got colouring cracked for sure but I'm sure a few more pens will be good for the soul ;-). Looking forward to seeing you at the Crop!

See you at PS and the Crop!
Love the cards you are making. The borders look ever so good and the embossing folder on the right is lovely - think I might need that one.
You are putting me to shame with your colouring, what a brilliant job you are making of the shading on your Gorjuss Girls. You might just have to give me a lesson at the Crop. (If you will that is)

Your card backgrounds are stunning, Heather. I do particularly like the blue musical one, not just for the border and texture of it, but the shading of the embossing. Hope you find a suitable guitar for it.

Happy WOYWW,

Hi Heather lovely makes, I have quite a few guitar stamps as music is popular in my family. I know Visible image do a good set and they do have sales throughout the year. Depends what sort of guitar your looking for there are lots of different shapes & makes. Good luck in your search.
Wishing you a Happy Easter & woyww Hugs Tracey #6

Yep, I was going to say Visible Image too, so I wonder if you’ve already had a look by now! Beautiful layering Heather, I don’t think I’ll ever get layers so precise as this again.

Thanks for your return visit, Heather, and for your good wishes for my dental appointment - tomorrow! Can't believe how quickly the time has gone. Not looking forward to it but will be glad when it's all over. I hope you aren't having the same problem. I'm sure you'd be better off without the wisdom tooth, though. They can be more trouble than they are worth, and when extracted, don't leave any unsightly gaps. Since your comment I've done some more work on the website and think I've got the blog more or less working as I want it now, but having issues with my home page, and also ongoing problems logging on to Wordpress. More about this on Wed. if I manage to join WOYWW! Hope you find the guitar stamp you want, and looking forward to seeing what you do with it!
