WOYWW 488

Hello blogging friends.  Time for a very late WOYWW!  This post is very late in the day as I am running behind this week!  That's what happens when I fall ill at work, and Mr M picks me up and decides to take me to the walk in centre rather than home, as requested!  A quick ECG followed by a transfer to Resus and then blood tests, chest xray and hooking me up to lots of things!  Everything came back normal so several hours later they finally released me!

My desk should have seen some crafting action this week, but instead I sorted my stamp storage.

I used the same idea as my die storage, just A4 wallets instead of A5.

At this rate I'll be totally organised,  and will then have to start crafting lol.
Oh my, the pressure lol!

I used some new stamps that I bought, Periwinkle Posy, but when I used the co-ordinating dies, Perwinkle Garden,  I was annoyed to find they don't cut out the stamps - they are way too big, so back to fussy cutting!

I had a practice with some texture stamps, and some spray bottles.  Didn't like the end result but it gave me some ideas for a base card for the flowers.

Mr M cannot believe I am running out of room so soon, but here is the evidence!

Boxes and piles of stuff everywhere.  Or is this normal crafting environment?  I'm having fun, so he's happy ... I just don't like having to move lots of stuff to get at other stuff.

That's all for this week!  We finally have a free weekend this week, so some crafting is on the cards, pardon the pun!  I will be late visiting, but I will get round as many desks as I can.  Have a lovely week, and please leave a comment so I know you stopped by, Heather x

Hi Heather. Oh my goodness - I do hope you are beginning to feel better now after your time in Resus. Don't know about your local hospital - but ours is wonderful, and the staff in Resus are beautiful. John ended up there on one of the 999 occasions - the other times he simply went into A&E!! I'm afraid to tell you that, yes, all craft rooms are indeed the same - it's always a state of chaos in mine when I am working - I do try to clear up between projects - honest - but within ten minutes... back to the state of chaos! Your stamp storage looks great. But I do agree, that when a stamp and die set are designed to go together they should cut out the stamp without leaving a white border - frustrates me no end. It means I don't use the set properly:-(
Hope you get some crafting done at the weekend.
Take care. God bless.

Loving how you've organised the stamps. I know what you mean about does not fitting the stamp and it is annoying. Have a great crafty week and a happy woyww, Angela x13x

Oh heather you gave me a scare then when I saw your first lines, not as much as Mr M i'm sure, you take care of yourself please..
I have to say that the craft stash will mount and mount, if you enjoy keeping up with all that is new it's a fact of crafty life unless you have a friend that you can share your stash with you will soon find ways to squeeze more in even when the room is not evident.
It's not so much fun putting it all back after having to rearrange it all as I am finding out now with boxes still unpacked, what you see on and around my work desk is just a pin prick hee hee!!
Enjoy your free weekend & hope to see your card creations next week.

Oh Heather, that must have been a scary few hours...I'm glad you're ok and I suppose having all those tests is a bit like an MOT, at least you know certain things are clear and ok. I do like having a good sort out so can appreciate why you did your stamps - they look very organised now!
You blooming take care this week!

I can understand your hubs brought you to the doctor for some test, I bet he was pretty scared when you suddenly fell ill, I know I it would scare the sh**t out of me when it was my beloved... glad they found nothing! Have a relaxed weekend with the sorted stuff, it looks so neat! And thanks for your visit to my blog the other day, I'm pretty late with my round again but hey, at least I made it before Wednesday ;) so happy woyww and a hug from Holland, Marit #11

Sorry to hear you had such a health scare, Heather, but glad that all came back normal. That sort of thing can be very worrying. I have got so much stash now and my studio is crammed - looking back at the photos of it in the early days 5 years ago it all looks so tidy and organised... I need to have a major clear out, and I certainly need to release some space by finishing some of my UFOs! Thank you for your lovely comment and I'm glad you like my boxes. I think it's a myth that wearing glasses makes your eyesight deteriorate more quickly lol! I think it's just anno domini. For me, wearing glasses is brilliant because I can actually see what I'm doing haha!! I do agree with you that there are worse things than having to wear glasses. Thanks for your good wishes for my various appointments. One usually has to wait around for ages.

Happy belated WOYWW,

Sorry I am so late in visiting but I have had a very mixed and busy week. Still not found the cause of the leak in my craft room.
Oh dear, glad you were finally declared fit and well it is always the same if you have had anything to do with your heart you get the full MOT - better safe than sorry, guess they cannot afford to miss.
I seem to have good and bad days with the back - off to the Chinese doctor again next week but in the meantime hot bottles seem to be doing the trick - tablets are spacing me out
It's lovely sat here today seeing the sunlight dappling through the trees whilst I okay catch up. Hope you are having a nice day.
Hugs, Neet 9 xx

Hi Heather! Glad things are all positive on the health front, and you can get to crafting and more crafting! I think you should visit your sister for Thanksgiving, if she lives in an area where the leaves change, it would be gorgeous! Or maybe it would snow! Even more beautiful! I'm glad we have our Thanksgiving earlier than the states, it gives a nice bit of time before Christmas. Sorry I'm so late, it's been a crazy week! Lindart #23
