WOYWW 454

Good morning fellow desk hoppers.  Happy WoYWW to all of you.  Sadly no crafting has been carried out this week.  Unpacking of boxes and trying to arrange everything has been fun though.  All boxes unpacked, not quite everything put away, but once my extra wall cupboard and shelves are installed then I should be ship shape and crafty.  Mr M decided my slide out desk would be better affixed to the Ikea drawers than a leg. Who am I to argue? The wicker baskets were in the Kallax unit. I've emptied most of them, and they will be donated to my daughter.

I figured if I can't craft, then I can at least shop.  Some items I bought at the craft fair at event city in Manchester, some at Inspirations, then off to the works and the range. All good fun.  Some stencils, a 3D embossing folder, some stencil card, more stencils, some glitter card, a couple of packs of 'manly' paper, some glue, some watercolour pencils, washi tape, the list goes on ... and on ...and I had put some stuff away!

I have my grandsons over this weekend, so the room will not be finished, but I'm hoping to make some birthday cards soon!

Thanks for stopping by, and please leave a comment so I can come and visit you! Heather xx

The craft room is looking great. Cannot wait to see the extra storage - you will have to do a 360 degree posting for us.
Love your idea of shopping and as I live close to the Gtr Manchester area we will have to meet up at one of the shows. It would be fun to meet up with several members - wonder who else attends?

It's looking great!! And sorting out and putting away is half the pleasure of a craft room, I feel. The Manly papers tickled me, do they have spanners and chainsaws on? That would float my husband's boat for sure :-D

Hi Heather, it always amazes me the stuff I find when organising, lol. Love the stuff you bought, and the' if I can't craft I can shop' idea. I may adopt that, rofl. Those 3D sfolders are amazing, I have a few I bought last year at the NEC, after I'd seen them used with black card and coloured gilding wax applied. Something else I keep meaning to do. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #15 XxX

Ooh Heather, it's coming together beautifully...love all the worktop space at the swing of a chair! The 'can't craft so might as well shop' theory resonates strongly over here! Love the 3d folders, I have a couple myself, they're like magic!

Hi Heather. That room is looking great - soon have it all ship shape and Bristol fashion!! Trust you get the cards made. Sorry we didn't meet up at Manchester - I went with a couple of friends on the Friday - and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
Take care. God bless.

What a nice stash! I really like that wavy stencil! Your craft room is really coming along! I had my root canal today, it wasn't bad at all, but right now, after all the freezing has gone - it's very painful! The Advil and Tylenol don't seem to be working . . .hopefully they will kick in soon. Thanks for your visit, have a great week, Lindart #38

Love the shelving boxes so much better than open shelves. Enjoy your purchases and look forward to seeing the results. Ani#17

Your crafty corner is shaping up very nicely! It's so much easier to keep things tidy when you have somewhere to put them! Enjoy your new space and I hope to see some of your creations soon! Thanks for your earlier visit - I am still enjoying my job at the Range, though I find it a bit tiring sometimes - but I'm getting used to it. Have a lovely weekend! zsuzsa #9

Love your craft space. I’m all set to reorganise my Craft Room. Haven’t really got a blog - that’s my next challenge ! I also went to the craft show at Event City (Thurs and Frid). Can’t beat a spot of crafty retail therapy ! x

Love your crafter's motto lol!! Glad you are getting things sorted and I hope you will enjoy your new creative space. It looks lovely to me! Thank you for your lovely comment - my hubby loved his card! We had a really great time at the show on Thurs. but I was good for nothing yesterday hence the delay in visiting your blog. Feeling better now though! It was worth it in spades. I've now blogged about the craft show and you can see what I brought home!

Happy belated WOYWW,

Thanks for your return visit, Heather, and I'm glad you enjoyed my craft show visit! Yes, I did push the boat out a bit with my purchases this time but hey, it's been an age since I last went to a craft show and after everything we've been through lately I decided to award myself a treat haha! I'm going to have a lot of fun with that lot, and today I started reorganising my studio a bit - it really needs a major clear out!
