WOYWW 437

Hello everyone,

Hope you have all had a lovely week.  Time for the weekly WOYWW tour of your desks, to see what you have all been up to.

On the left of my desk is one of the two early birthday presents I received last week - a tool caddy (thanks to Shaz for pointing my in the direction of Amazon).  It is large, but holds so much I got rid of all my little cups.  It's far easier to move out of the way if I need to.  In the middle of the picture is the latest from my wedding scrapbook album.  I had initially thought this would take me quite a while to complete, but I'm enjoying it so much that I only have another 9 photos to add!  Whatever will I do then??  I updated the separate post with the latest pages - available here for those who are interested.  The layout for the next page is on the green cutting mat.

On the small shelf are two cards quickly made for birthdays this weekend - both male - which is where I struggle for ideas, so Hunkydory kit pieces have been used.  My box of stick on gems are to the right of the desk, and my UFO box under the shelf is temporary home to some lengths of lace until my album is finished.  To the right, maybe just out of the picture, are some dies I bought from Ebay China, I haven't used them yet but I think they were just over a pound each - so I thought I would give them a try (another thanks to Shaz).

I hope you all have a marvellous week, and I would love for you to leave a comment.  Then I know you have been, and can make sure I pop by and visit you.  Bye for now, Heather x

I suppose I am lucky in that I work with Steam Engines so most of my male cards have an engine on!!!
Have a good week and carry on with the wedding book

Hi Heather, seems like I should be hiding my face in shame for getting you spending, lol. But seriously, the China dies are such a bargain, and I've only had one that was tricky to cut, a snowflake lacy background, that I am quite sure would have been just as tricky if it had been a high end die. I love my caddy for the same reason, you can put so much in it, and have all the stuff you grab often to hand, and I just love those little drawers too. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #1 XxXx

Men are such awful fellows aren't they in more ways than one. That is a posh tool caddy will have to look it up. I have heard those Chinese dies are ok but haven't seen any, will have to try. Anickoana #14

That Shaz is such a temptress!! Naughty girl :-D But she does flag up things that are useful and usually reasonable. Well done on almost completing the album, a good job done!

I love your tool holder, I got one similar awhile ago and it's great, but it doesn't have your lovely drawers in, I love those.
Men's cards are so hard aren't they.

Very useful looking tool box you have there. Men's cards just always get me stuck so you're not alone. Have a great woyww and a lovely creative week, Angela x10x

Love the new tool caddy, and I agree with Jan that Shaz is a temptress! I've bought stuff in the past on her recommendation lol! Have fun playing with your new dies too. Men cards aren't too bad if you keep the colours grungy. I make ones with flowers on for my hubby and they don't look feminine. Add a few gearwheels - and I've got my metal plate look-alike embossing folder too.

Thank you for your visit - so glad you like my cards! I must try some more in that style, I think. I should be a lot quicker at doing them but always take ages because I make mistakes and when my ME is bad the brainfog makes things much worse lol! Shoshi's not fit to be let out on her own these days...

Happy WOYWW,
