The Scan & Cut has been in action, making some labels for my daughter for her pantry... and then making some for me! For a first attempt they did not turn out too bad. The biggest issue was figuring out how to print and then cut, without it cutting out all the letters. I must have been a man in a former life as I hate reading instructions!
On my other desk are some cards I made using the techniques I learnt at the workshop I attended.
I'm liking my new brayer! So much so I ordered some more distress oxides, but haven't received them yet.
I have also sent off for a ticket for Port Sunlight, so hopefully I will get one, and meet some more of you!
Late post for me today and I will do my desk hopping as soon as I can. Heather x

Lovely cards, Heather! I really like those mushroom stamps - so whimsical! Well done for figuring out your Scan & Cut - I'm not one for reading instructions either - I just get too excited and impatient to read them - but once I admit defeat, I'm pretty good at following instructions - I just have to get to that point and I don't give up easily LOL! Thank you for visiting yesterday - much appreciated! Wishing you a lovely Easter and hope to see you again next week if we can both make it! zsuzsa #11
You made me laugh! I hate reading instructions too, just like I detest doing preparation/sanding before painting!! We are kindred spirits. The labels seemed to turn out ok! Like your cards too, really bright and cheerful. Hope all went well at the hospital.

Hi Heather, you will LOVE port Sunlight! We have gone for the last few years, but this one clashes with a friends wedding, so we are having to miss it. We will go to the October one though, for sure. You will find Neet goes, and also Sarah Brennan, so make sure to put it in your post the week before, you will meet lots of lovely people, and the show is so much fun- Running late this week, got distracted by the chance to do some gardening again yesterday! Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #8 XxX
Fantastic cards! Love the colors you used! And great idea on the labels made with the scan & cut too! Have a wonderful week! xo Cheetarah #30
See you at Port Sunny then!
Love the labels - you have mastered the Scan and Cut then - and some, by the look of what you are producing. Great - and I think I was a man too but my problem is I still don't always figure it out.
Hugs, Neet xx
workshops are great to get you going aren't they, super cards. Love the labels too. Thanks for the visit BJ#4
there's nothing like a good workshop to get you in the mood for crafting. Love the results. Have a great belated woyww and happy creating, Angela x19x
Yay Heather; my ticket for Port Sunlight is on its way so I will have to remember to wear my badge. Eva will be there too! Love the finished labels and the inky cards. Happy belated WOYWW Sarah #7
I hate reading instructions too - learn so much better (if taking longer) by doing.
Love your cards :)

great looking cards and labels. I never have gotten good using my Circuit! Hope you are having a great week! ...I am late getting around as usual! Vickie #39
I hope your tests went OK, Heather, and that the results will be satisfactory. I love your projects - lovely cards, and well done with the beautiful pantry labels. I made some for mine last year and they make it all look so pretty. I love my Distress Oxides and since getting them, have not looked back. Thank you for your sweet comment. I am so pleased that you enjoyed my mystery project and especially Mum’s funny sayings! Stuff like this goes into the family lore, doesn’t it. We quote her often. So sorry you were left with so few photographic mementoes of your own mother and I hope your cousin is able to fill in some gaps for you. Thank you - I had my operation as scheduled and the result was good but plenty of pain as I’d been warned. I was only in 4 days and didn’t feel ready to come home. Spent the next couple of days in bed feeling pretty awful and experienced continual bleeding from my stoma so on Wednesday we phoned the stoma nurse and she said come to A&E. I was eventually readmitted and kept in overnight until they were satisfied that all would be well and I came home again this afternoon. I have spent the rest of the day in bed and hope to feel better enough tomorrow to get up. It’s been a tough week.
